A room can be built correctly and still be hard to support if the platform story is unclear.

Q-SYS now says the RoomSuite Modular System, NC-90-G2, and VisionSuite VSA-100 are certified ProAV devices for Zoom Rooms. The company also keeps Zoom-specific support material in one place, including quick-start guidance for NC-90-G2 with Zoom Rooms advanced camera features.

The useful reading is not “these products work with Zoom.” It is that certification turns an integration into something support teams can reason about faster. A certified camera or room system gives you a cleaner answer to questions like: is this an approved path, which feature set is expected, and where should troubleshooting start? That reduces the chance that a room issue gets treated as a generic network problem when the real constraint is compatibility or configuration.

There is still a limit. Certification does not remove the need to verify room design, firmware, control logic, or whether the advanced camera features are actually in use. But it does change the procurement and handoff conversation. If a project needs lower support risk, the first decision is often whether the room should depend on a platform-neutral integration or a certified one with an explicit support path.

For AV and workplace teams, that is a better test than feature count alone: can the room be explained, supported, and repaired without guesswork?
